Three small moves that shape culture.

… more than your values poster ever will.

Culture isn’t built in a workshop, on a poster, or in a values exercise. It’s built in the small, repeated moments — what you notice, what you ritualise, what you let pass without saying anything. Three concrete moves you can start this week. No theatre. No homework.

We’ll send you the PDF and very occasional emails from marph. Unsubscribe whenever.

What’s inside

Move one: notice out loud. Share one specific thing you noticed someone do well, every week. Specific noticing tells the team what counts — no values statement required.

Move two: add one ritual to one meeting. Pick a recurring meeting and add a single repeating moment. Same ritual, same meeting, every time. Culture is repetition done on purpose.

Move three: ask the inverse question. Once a quarter, ask each person what you’re doing that makes their work harder. Then stay quiet. The bravest culture move you have.

“Culture happens whether you shape it or not. The question is whether it’s the one you wanted.”

Free. PDF. No upsell.

Built for first-time people managers who know culture matters but don’t want to run another values workshop. Three moves. One page. Start Monday.
