From PowerPoint to participation - how a smart facilitation tool truly supports engagement
Having used this facilitation kit for my Small Change, Big Impact: Practical Facilitation Tips for Better Training workshop in April 2026, I was genuinely very happy with the facilitation kit - both during the preparation phase and throughout the implementation of the workshop itself.
Already in the preparation stage, Estelle worked with me very patiently and thoughtfully. We went through my workshop plan, facilitation flow, structure, and exercises together, and she helped translate these ideas into a very intuitive physical setup. I especially appreciated how carefully she listened and how she recommended not only the overall board structure, but also the small details: the shapes, colors, and formats of the post-its and materials, all of which connected very naturally to the workshop content and flow.
During the workshop, the response from participants was extremely positive. For a change, people did not spend 90 minutes looking at PowerPoint slides or screens. Instead, they had something physical and interactive in front of them: writing by hand with markers, standing up and moving around, placing ideas on the board, reorganising thoughts visually, erasing and rewriting when needed,...
It completely changed the energy in the room.
What I loved most was that the board itself became a living reflection of the group’s thinking process. Instead of ending with “45 forgotten PowerPoint slides,” we ended with one shared visual output that participants had co-created together and could be shared with them as a summary.
I also really appreciate the sustainability perspective of the kit. The materials are reusable, adaptable, and designed for repeated use across workshops, strategy sessions, leadership trainings, and team discussions.
For me, it demonstrated beautifully how thoughtful physical facilitation tools can make workshops feel more engaging, participatory, human, and memorable.
